Monica’s Approach
There are many approaches to healing, and no single path is right for everyone. What matters most is finding a safe space to explore and untangle the cords that bind us to trauma, often shaping our lives in unseen ways.
Monica is a holistic practitioner who believes deeply in our innate capacity to return to wholeness and vitality. She offers her full presence and trusts in the power of connection as a pathway to self-awareness and expansion. Through exploring generational trauma and uncovering unconscious, limiting belief systems, she helps open the way to growth, resilience, and deeper life satisfaction.

Meet Monica: Your Guide to Healing & Connection
A Journey of Resilience, Curiosity, and Calling
Born in Montreal to Hungarian immigrants, Monica Erdosh’s life has always been shaped by movement, history, and resilience. She spent her early childhood in Sri Lanka before moving to the United States, eventually settling in Colorado, where she earned degrees in Italian and Women’s Studies at the University of Colorado Boulder. After studying abroad in Italy and completing her Master’s in Social Work at California State University, Sacramento, she began her private practice in 1998.
As the daughter of Holocaust survivors and post-war refugees, Monica carries a profound awareness of generational trauma and the strength it takes to heal it. Her path into therapy unfolded not by design but by trust, “the doors opened, and I walked through.” For more than two decades, she has held space for transformation, witnessing again and again our innate capacity to evolve, connect, and come home to ourselves.
Integrative Therapy for Mind, Body, and Heart
Monica’s work draws on both psychological insight and embodied practice, offering therapy as a place of safety, depth, and growth. She has supported adolescents and adults through life transitions, identity shifts, and relational challenges, always with a devotion to honoring each person’s unique journey.
Deeply influenced by the teachings of Esther Perel, Hedy Schleifer, Terry Real, and Alexandra Solomon, Monica blends grounded presence with attuned guidance. She helps clients explore patterns, repair ruptures, and cultivate meaningful connection bringing insight, resilience, and relational maturity to the forefront of her work.
Yoga as a Bridge Between Body and Mind
In addition to her clinical training, Monica is a certified yoga teacher, completing her 200-hour teacher training with Channels of Healing in 2024 and a 75-hour Yin and Nidra certification through East Wind Yoga. Her studies combined classical teachings with subtle energy work, enriching both her personal practice and her therapeutic approach.
From breathwork and sound healing to meditation and chakra study, yoga has become an integral part of her toolkit, a bridge between body and mind. She weaves mindfulness, movement, and stillness into therapy and retreats, supporting emotional resilience, trauma healing, and holistic well-being.
A Holistic Path of Transformation
Through private sessions, couples work, and immersive retreats, Monica offers pathways for healing that embrace both mind and body. Her integrative approach reflects a lifelong devotion to exploring the human spirit: its struggles, its capacity for resilience, and its longing for connection. At the heart of her work is a simple yet powerful belief that we are all capable of growth, healing, and transformation.
An Invitation
Whether through private therapy, couples work, or immersive retreats, Monica offers a space to pause, reflect, and reconnect with what matters most. Her work is an invitation to step into deeper awareness, to heal old wounds, and to create relationships with self and others rooted in clarity, trust, and love.
“Change happens in connection with ourselves and each other.”
